In this , we explain to you step by step how to Delegate your Ethereum account.
Ethereum accounts must be delegated and represented by a NEAR account in order to vote and receive payments for voting. Keep in mind that to receive payments for your Voting Power, you must have voted for any of the voting options the Meta Pool DAO has. More info .
To be able to vote with your Voting Powers in the Meta Pool DAO, which operates on the NEAR network, you must delegate the representation of your Ethereum accounts to a NEAR account.
The purpose of delegating your Ethereum account is to participate in the Meta Pool DAO that operates on NEAR. Participation in the DAO involves voting. By voting with your Voting Power, you can receive payments every month.
The minimum requirement is 1000 Voting Power in your Ethereum account to delegate the representation to a NEAR account.
Voting cannot be done from the Ethereum account. To vote, you must delegate your representation to a NEAR account. Once the delegation is done, make sure to choose the NEAR network and that it is representing the Ethereum account. This way, you can vote and receive payments for voting without any issues.
Payments for voting in the Meta Pool DAO are made on the NEAR network in the Representative account. These payments are in stNEAR, and on the 3rd of each month, payments are credited to the account, and you can claim them.
The reason your Ethereum account, to be represented, ends with evmp.near is because it's actually a mirrored Ethereum account that allows you to vote on NEAR. This way, you can keep your assets on the Ethereum network and participate in the Meta Pool DAO without any issues.
Keep in mind that Meta Pool is multichain. Therefore, you can have an Ethereum account and a NEAR account connected, and the connected Ethereum account might not be represented by the connected NEAR account. Make sure you are certain about which accounts are connected.
