# Internet Computer Protocol

Meta Pool offers liquid staking on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). Stake ICP and receive **$stICP**, a liquid staking token that represents your staked ICP plus accrued NNS voting rewards.

#### Stake ICP with Meta Pool

1. Choose an ICP wallet (for example [Bitfinity](https://wallet.bitfinity.network/) or [Plug](https://plugwallet.ooo/)).
2. Connect at [metapool.app](https://www.metapool.app) and deposit ICP to mint stICP.
3. Hold stICP to continue earning staking rewards; unstake via the Meta Pool UI when you want to exit (unstaking from NNS neurons can take a long time depending on liquidity).
