# Referral Program

### What is the Meta Pool Referral Program?

The Meta Pool Referral Program is a way to earn rewards by bringing new stakers to the protocol. When someone stakes in Meta Pool using your unique referral link, you earn tickets. Those tickets enter you into a monthly draw where you can win prizes. The more real staking your referrals bring (and the longer they stay staked) the more tickets you accumulate and the better your chances.

Think of it as a referral system built on top of real economic activity. There are no points for likes, shares, or follows. Every reward is tied to verified staking onchain.

***

### Why should I participate?

* You already stake in Meta Pool. Your referral link is already active: you just need to share it.
* Every person you bring who stakes generates tickets for you automatically. You don't have to do anything after they stake.
* Over time, your tickets build your XP, which builds your tier, which unlocks access to bigger prizes. The earlier you start, the more you compound.
* The program is free to join. No application. No minimum stake from you. Just share your link.

***

### Before you start, key concepts you need to understand

#### What is an identity?

In the Meta Pool Referral Program, you are not just one wallet address. You are an identity.

Your identity connects your referral link, wallets, staking activity, tickets, XP, tier and reward progress into one profile.

This matters because:

* you can connect more than one wallet;
* your rewards are calculated by identity, not by individual wallet;
* your progress stays connected to your profile across cycles;
* adding more wallets does not create extra identities or multiply rewards unfairly.

#### What is a referral link?

Your referral link is a unique URL that tracks who you brought to Meta Pool. When someone stakes using your link, the system detects that stake onchain and attributes it to your identity automatically.

Your link looks like this:

```
<https://metapool.app/stake?ref=XXXXXX>
```

You can find it in your dashboard as soon as your wallet is active in the program.

**One critical rule:** the referral link must be used at the moment of staking. It cannot be applied retroactively after a stake has already been completed. Make sure your referrals use your link before they stake, not after.

#### What is a cycle?

The program runs in cycles.

During a cycle, your staking activity, referrals, tickets, XP and eligibility can update.

Some campaigns may run inside one cycle or across multiple cycles. Always check the active campaign page or your dashboard for the current dates, deadlines and payout rules.

#### Campaigns

Campaigns are special reward periods inside the referral program.

Each campaign can have its own:

* supported chains or staking products;
* staking minimums;
* ticket rules;
* reward lanes;
* prize pool;
* winner count;
* XP rules;
* payout timing;
* special bonuses.

Always check the active campaign page or your dashboard for the current rules.

#### What are tickets?

Tickets help you participate in reward draws.

More tickets can increase your weight in a draw, but they do not guarantee a prize.

You can earn tickets through real staking activity, retained referrals, clean activity and campaign-specific rules.

Ticket rules can vary by campaign. Always check your dashboard or the active campaign page for the current rules.

### How to participate, step by step

#### Step 1: Connect your wallet

Go to the referral dashboard and connect your wallet.

Your dashboard will show your referral link, activity, tickets, XP and campaign status.

#### Step 2: Share your referral link

Share your link with people who want to stake in Meta Pool.

Make sure they use your link before they stake. If they stake without your link, that stake cannot be added to you later.

#### Step 3: Your referrals stake

Your referrals use your link, connect their wallet and stake.

The system tracks the activity and shows the referral status in your dashboard.

#### Step 4: Their stake matures

A referred stake may start as pending while it is being validated or while it matures.

If it stays active and follows the rules, it can become confirmed and help you earn progress, tickets or better reward weight.

#### Step 5: Use your tickets

At the end of a cycle or campaign window, eligible users may be able to use premium tickets in the draw or convert some of them into XP.

A premium ticket can only be used once: draw or XP, not both.

***

### Understanding tickets in detail

**Types of tickets**

The program can use different types of tickets.

#### Premium tickets

Premium tickets are the main tickets in the program.

Depending on the active campaign, they may be used for:

* entering the draw;
* increasing your draw weight;
* converting into XP during the final window.

If you convert a premium ticket into XP, that ticket will not enter the draw.

#### Boost tickets

Boost tickets are extra tickets used only for the draw.

They may help your draw weight, but they cannot be converted into XP.

How boost tickets are earned may vary by campaign.

#### How many tickets does a stake generate?

Ticket generation can vary by campaign.

In general, real staking, retained referrals, clean activity and profile quality can help you earn more tickets or stronger draw weight.

The active campaign page and your dashboard will show the current ticket rules.

#### XP conversion: is it worth it?

Some campaigns may allow you to convert premium tickets into XP during the final window.

XP helps you build long-term progress in the program.

If you convert a premium ticket into XP, that ticket will not enter the draw.

Conversion rates, limits and availability may vary by campaign. Always check your dashboard for the current rules.

***

### Tiers: your long-term progression

Your tier shows your long-term progress in the program.

Higher tiers may unlock better opportunities, but each campaign decides which rewards, lanes or benefits are available for each tier.

XP helps you move forward, but it is not the only thing that matters. Clean activity, retained staking, profile quality and eligibility can also affect your access to rewards.

***

### The monthly draw: how prizes work

#### How reward draws work

Reward draws are campaign-based.

Each campaign can define its own reward lanes, prize pool, ticket requirements, number of winners and payout timing.

Having tickets does not automatically guarantee a prize or access to every draw.

First, the system checks who is eligible. Then, eligible users enter the draw with a certain weight. More tickets or stronger activity can improve your weight, but winning is not guaranteed.

Always check the active campaign page for current prizes, requirements and deadlines.

#### Prize tiers / Prize table

**Reward lanes**

Campaigns may include reward lanes.

A reward lane can have its own:

* minimum tickets;
* tier or level requirement;
* clean referral requirement;
* quality requirement;
* staking retention requirement;
* number of winners;
* prize amount or benefit.

Higher lanes usually require stronger activity and better eligibility.

The active campaign page will show the current lanes and requirements.

#### How the draw works

The draw is weighted.

That means eligible users do not all enter with the same chance. Your tickets and draw weight can improve your chances, but they do not guarantee a win.

First, the system checks who is eligible. Then, it runs the draw among eligible users for each reward lane.

Payout timing, hold periods and winner validation may vary by campaign. Always check the active campaign rules.

***

### Supported staking products

Supported staking products may vary by campaign.

Your dashboard and the active campaign page will show which chains, products and staking flows are currently eligible.

#### Minimum staking to qualify

To start earning tickets, a stake must be at least **USD 25**.

Stakes between **USD 25 and USD 39.99** may count with reduced rewards.

Stakes of **USD 40 or more** can generate stronger ticket and progress rewards.

Minimums may vary by campaign, chain or product. Always check your dashboard and the active campaign rules for the current requirements.

### Rules: what keeps the program fair

The program is designed to reward real staking activity, not fake traffic or short-term farming.

#### Use the correct referral link

A stake is attributed to the owner of the referral link used before staking. Referral links cannot be applied after a stake has already been made.

#### Your own stake must use your own link

Your own stake can count only if you use your own referral link. This is your skin in the game: it shows that you are participating too.

It can help you qualify, but it does not replace real referrals and may be limited by campaign rules.

#### Bring real stakers

The program rewards real users who stake and keep their stake active.

Fake activity, coordinated farming, duplicate identities or suspicious behavior can reduce your progress or block you from rewards.

#### Keep stake active

If a stake is withdrawn too early, it may stop counting, lose progress or become penalized.

#### One identity per person

You can connect multiple wallets to one identity, but creating multiple identities to multiply rewards unfairly can lead to disqualification.

***

### Eligibility

Having tickets does not automatically mean you can enter every draw.

To participate, your profile may need:

* an active identity;
* available tickets;
* real activity;
* correct referral use;
* positive draw weight;
* clean activity;
* no fraud or critical review;
* campaign-specific requirements.

Each reward lane can also have its own rules.

Keep your activity real, your referrals clean and your stake active.

### Network quality

The program rewards real, clean and consistent activity.

Your quality can improve when you bring real stakers, keep activity healthy and avoid suspicious behavior.

Low-quality activity, duplicate behavior, early unstake, invalid self-referral behavior or abuse can reduce your progress or block you from rewards.

### Q\&A

**Q: I already stake in Meta Pool. Do I have a referral link?** A: Yes. If your wallet is active in the program, you can find your referral link in your dashboard.\
You do not need to apply separately.

***

**Q: What exactly do I need to tell my referrals before they stake?** A: Tell them to use your referral link before they stake.\
If they stake without your link, that stake cannot be added to you later.\
Simple message:\
“If you want to stake in Meta Pool, use my referral link so the stake is registered in the program: \[YOUR LINK]”

***

**Q: How do I know if a referral was successfully attributed to me?** A: Your dashboard shows your referrals and their current status.\
A referred stake may appear as pending while it is being validated or while it matures. If it stays active and follows the rules, it can become confirmed.

***

**Q: My referral staked but I don't see any tickets. What happened?** A: There are a few possible reasons:

* the stake may still be pending;
* the stake may be below the active campaign minimum;
* the referral may not have used your link;
* the stake may not have matured yet;
* your profile may not be eligible yet;
* the active campaign may have specific ticket rules.

Check your dashboard for the current referral status.

***

**Q: What happens if my referral unstakes early?** A: If a referral unstakes too early, that stake may stop counting, lose progress or become penalized.\
The program rewards retained staking, not temporary deposits.

***

**Q: Should I convert my tickets to XP or play the draw?** A: It depends on your strategy and on the active campaign.\
If you want long-term progress, converting some premium tickets into XP may help.\
If you want to compete in the draw, keeping premium tickets for the draw may make more sense.\
A premium ticket can only be used once: draw or XP, not both.

***

**Q: Does my tier reset at the end of each cycle?** A: Your XP and tier represent long-term progress.\
However, access to specific rewards, lanes or benefits can depend on the active campaign, your eligibility, your quality and your current activity

***

**Q: Can I link multiple wallets to my identity?** A: Yes. You can connect multiple wallets to the same identity.\
This helps consolidate your activity in one profile.\
Adding more wallets does not create extra identities or multiply rewards unfairly.

***

**Q: I am a node operator in Node Studio. Can I participate in both the node contest and the referral program?** A: Yes. The Node Studio VP contest and the referral program run on the same infrastructure. Your referrals in the node contest count as verified referrals in the program. You participate in both simultaneously.

***

**Q: What is the Jackpot Lane and how do I reach it?** A: Jackpot Lane is usually the highest reward lane in a campaign.\
Its requirements can change depending on the active campaign.\
In general, higher lanes require more tickets, stronger activity, better quality and clean referrals.\
Always check the active campaign page for current lane requirements.

***

**Q: Can I see how other participants are doing?** A: Yes. If the active campaign includes a leaderboard, you can check how other participants are doing in the dashboard.\
You can also see your own referral activity, including who staked using your link, their status, and whether their activity is pending, confirmed or penalized.\
Leaderboard rules and visible metrics may vary by campaign.

***

**Q: What if I have a question that is not answered here?** A: Reach out through Meta Pool's official Telegram channel or Discord server. The team is available to help with any questions about the program.
