Vote Delegation Program

The Delegation Program allows mpDAO holders to delegate their Voting Power (VP) to registered community Delegates. This enables participation in governance without manually voting on each proposal, validator, or grant.

Delegates vote using the combined VP (their own + delegated from others), and delegators share in the generated rewards.

Important: Delegating VP does not mean losing control of your locked mpDAO or wallet. You can change or withdraw your delegation at any time.

What do you get by delegating?

• Base voting rewards (monthly): Rewards from the Vote-to-Earn program, based on VP used in effective votes (validators and grants). Distributed on the 3rd day of each month. The Delegate sets a fee percentage (typically 0%-50%, up to 100%) deducted from these rewards; the remaining portion goes directly to you as the delegator.

• Extra farming rewards (daily): Many Delegates create Farms with additional incentives (e.g., USDC, USDT, NEAR, stNEAR, mpDAO). If the Delegate has an active Farm and this Delegate meets the minimum VP requirement set by the Delegate, you receive a proportional share daily. Rewards are claimable in the Delegation Program section.

How to choose a Delegate

Visit the Delegate Votes page to browse the list of registered Delegates. The table includes:

• Nickname and Account (NEAR address, often with verification badge or checkmark for endorsed ones).

• Opportunity: Shows the current Farm status.

  • Rewards ON (Active - green) if the Delegate's minimum total VP requirement is met → Farm is distributing rewards.

  • Rewards OFF (Inactive - red) if min VP not reached, with Missing XX VP displayed.

  • Farm size/token (e.g., Farm: 100 USDT).

• Farming Rewards: Token and period (Farm Start / Farm End dates).

• Fee: The Delegate's commission % on base voting rewards.

• Voting Rewards: Pending fee changes (if any) and Effective at date (changes have a delay to aware delegators).

• Action: Delegate button to start the process.

Delegates can only have one active Farm at a time (consecutive farms). To see upcoming or finished Farms, click the Delegate's row to open their detailed overview (includes self VP, received VP, farm history, fee management, etc.).

Use the search bar to filter by nickname or account. Click a Delegate's nickname to view full details, including slider simulation for estimating your potential farming rewards based on delegated VP.
